A New Perspective on Showing Up

Conscious Leadership

Conscious Capitalism, Inc. describes Conscious Leaders like this:
Conscious businesses cannot exist without Conscious Leaders. Conscious Leaders focus on “we,” rather than “me.” They inspire positive transformation and bring out the best in those around them. They keep the business focused on its Higher Purpose, and support the people within the organization to create value for all of the organization’s stakeholders. They recognize the integral role of culture and purposefully cultivate a Conscious Culture of trust and care.
Sounds great, doesn’t it? As someone who is on the continuous journey towards Conscious Leadership, and sometimes stumbling along the path, I find myself soul-searching. Often. Just me? Have you ever thought about how you show up – authentically – in different situations? Have you ever thought about the labels society puts on us? Or, the labels we put on ourselves? In this interview, Shalonda Ingram gives us a new perspective to ponder. The video is less than 30 minutes, and well-worth the time. Please feel free to add your comments should you feel inspired to join the conversation!
